Pendleton Family // Newport, Oregon
New life in an Old Growth Pacific Northwest Forest
Let me tell you, there's something about a family that truly has fun with their kids in the middle of the woods and the way their Dad looks at their Mom that makes my heart explode! My face smiles so big when I think about how much love I saw between all of them. Best thing ever.
The Oregon sideways rain stopped just long enough for all of us to trek through the woods but I could tell this little family was ready for photos even if the precipitation kept coming. So my backpack was filled with all the photog essentials like floaty boats and rubber duckies. But I didn't even need to resort to any of those things because they boys were so busy showing us all things Pacific Northwest such as the Chanterelle Mushrooms, where the old pine crushed the boardwalk when it came crashing down, and when we were approaching the spooky tunnel. And if you guys are interested in ultra running and want to know how Kelly balances motherhood and being a wife, surgeon, AND an ultra runner... head on over to her blog and check it out. She's always up to something fun, her tenacity is incredibly inspiring, and the support of her husband is a unicorn.
I loved tagging along with this beautiful family and capturing all the love so much that I could have just hung out with them all day. Thank you Jeff and Kelly. Being with you guys made my whole day!
